Natural Advantage Review Summary |

“Wisdom comes with age, wrinkles don’t have to” is the tag line which is most often associated with Jane Seymour’s anti-aging system Natural Advantage®. It is endorsed by Jane, but it was created by Dr. Farris, a dermatologist, who has spent much of her career seeking out ways to help her patients to address visible signs of aging, such as brown spots, crows feet, wrinkles and fine lines. This product line, like many others, seeks to address the external causes of these issues, such as damage done by the sun and pollutants.
This type of sun damage often occurs when we are in our 20’s and care free, as we are usually unaware of the damage that may be done by the sun. We may have little cause for concern, but this damage then manifests as skin degradation in our 30’s and 40’s. However, there are other causes for wrinkles and facial lines as well, which we will discuss later in this review. Nevertheless lets take a look at this system to see what it is all about and what it may have to offer.

Like many other cleansers, the Natural Advantage® Daily Cleansing Gel helps users remove excess oils and make up, as well as helping to nourish the skin in order to create a refreshed feeling. The All Day Moisture formula has a SPF of 15 to increase protection against sun damage, and it contains Vitamin E, Panthenol and a Vitamin B complex. Vitamins, such as Vitamin E, have been shown to be powerful antioxidants, which may help users address damage done by the sun and environmental toxins. This formula also contains AHA’s or Alpha Hydroxies, which are exfoliants that are also good for addressing sun damage.
Finally, the Natural Advantage® Nighttime Renewal Complex is used in the evening to reduce wrinkles and fine lines. This is the formula that was created to directly affect skin aging. It contains Retinol, which is used to “visibly reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for smoother, younger-looking skin.” Retinol is a form of Vitamin A, which is most often found in products geared toward reducing cellulite . However, in general Retinol is known to be able to help improve skin structure, but when it comes to wrinkles and facial lines, its abilities have not been as extensively studied as they have been in terms of reducing cellulite.

This website also offers consumers Natural Advantage® Ultimate Hydration, which is used to help them deeply moisturize their skin. Its formula contains plant extracts, exotic oils and Shea Butter, but it is perhaps the Shea Butter that is the most effective element in this formula. It is a natural moisturizing factor, but it is not as hydrating as some other elements, such as Hyaluronic Acid, nor does it have the wrinkle reducing abilities of elements like Matrixyl 3000®. However, in a formula, such as this one, it may help some people take their skincare routine to a higher level, but it may not be as effective, as it could have been if this developer made better choices.
