Serutox Review Summary

Serutox® is advertised as one of the first age-defying serums for reducing wrinkles around the eyes without using injections. The product was first put on the market in 2002 and is supposedly available in over 21 countries.

They claim to “prefer quality over quantity.” The product is available for purchase online and in salons and day spas. We will take a closer look at the formulation below.

Ingredients At A Glance
Serutox® claims to be effective by keeping its formula simple; the website explains that fewer ingredients are less likely to cause breakouts and allergic reactions to the skin. The formula contains Argireline® as its active ingredient. Argireline® or acetyl hexapeptide-3 is a popular ingredient found in most anti-aging formulas. This formula however, does not include some of the more effective and modern ingredients available today.

Ingredients In Focus
Argireline® has been shown to reduce fine lines around the face caused by facial expressions. It is often advertised as an alternative to Botox® injections, without the pain, cost or toxicity. This formula uses a less than 10% concentration of Argireline®, which the marketing of the product declares to be the most effective, as higher concentrations are likely to cause breakouts.

Clinical studies have proven that Argireline ® acts similarly to Botox ® on the facial muscles, though unlike Botox ®, which paralyzes the muscles, Argireline ® merely relaxes the muscle contractions and has no side effects.

Diet Lifestyle
Serutox® has been on the market for over three years, and the website claims that recent evidence indicates the product has minimal impact on lines around the mouth. For people concerned about the skin’s elasticity in this particular area, Serutox® will not be the most effective method of treatment. The product should be applied to a clean, dry face, and may not be preferable for those with sensitive skin.
