Nexiderm-SP

Nexiderm-SP Review Summary

Nexiderm-SP™ is distributed by the cosmeceuticals company Boehm-Ritter. Based in California, this company does not seem to have been around very long, at least in comparison to other, better-known cosmetics manufacturers. A little online research reveals that Boehm-Ritter has been in hot water recently over fraudulent billing charges.

This is unfortunate, because at first glance Nexiderm seems to have some potential as a wrinkle treatment, as it contains some ingredients that may help to increase firmness in older skin. However, even the best ingredients in the world cannot make up for poor customer service.

Products In Focus
As discussed above, Nexiderm-SP contains a couple of ingredients that have a lot of potential to restore skin’s youthful plump. Perhaps most notable is Matrixyl, an amino acid complex that has been shown to increase collagen synthesis. This is particularly important as we get older, as collagen levels tend to decline with age, causing skin to sag and crease. Greater levels of collagen will not only help to give the skin a lift, but it may also help to fill in grooves from underneath the surface, helping to smooth out wrinkles.

However, Matrixyl represents only part of the solution. In order to keep the skin looking younger for years to come, many experts suggest another amino acid complex called Argireline. Often referred to as a hexapeptide, Argireline has been shown to help reduct the tiny facial ticks and movements that over time can lead to fine lines.

Moisture is also another important part of keeping the skin looking young and healthy. Hyaluronic Acid is a well-known water-binding agent that also carries nutrients to skin cells that do not have a direct blood supply. Perhaps even more importantly, it helps to carry debris away from the surface of the epidermis, helping to maintain a clear, glowing appearance.

Website
Typing “Nexiderm” into a search engine reveals that the product does indeed have its own website, but at the time of this review it appeared to be under construction. Fortunately, Boehm-Ritter devotes a section of its corporate site to describing Nexiderm and its main active ingredient, Matrixyl. This is quite helpful, as many companies provide no details on their formulas at all.

Unfortunately, the Boehm-Ritter website has few other features to speak of. The Nexiderm page has a “buy now” button, but clicking on it only leads to the page under construction. The company does not offer a free trial sample, but considering the charges of fraudulent billing currently being levied against the company, perhaps this is for the best.
