Klein-Becker Review Summary |

Over the last ten years, Klein-Becker has become a widely-recognized manufacturer of cosmetics and nutritional supplements. Unlike other brands that offer multiple moisturizers, anti-wrinkle creams and eye gels, Klein-Becker produces only a handful of targeted formulas.
The company’s StriVectin line is probably the most well known because of the placement of its advertisements in major fashion magazines. This collection consists of formulas to treat specific skin concerns of the face and body. Yet in spite of Klein-Becker’s claims of being an innovator in skin technology, it is unfortunately less than forthcoming about how exactly its “life-enhancement” formulations work to improve the skin.

As discussed above, Klein-Becker manufactures a number of lifestyle products, including vitamins, weight loss supplements and skincare products. The skincare line consists of: StriVectin-HC hand cream, StriVectin-NE hand exfoliant, StriVectin-SD stretch mark cream, StriVectin-SD Eye Cream, and StriVectin-HS wrinkle serum.

Many women find multiple uses for their cosmetics, and StriVectin-SD is a stretch mark cream that can do double duty as a wrinkle softener. According to Klein-Becker, it offers a less invasive alternative to Botox, thanks to the active ingredient Striadril. This pentapeptide complex can be found in a number of commercial anti-wrinkle creams because of its purported ability to soften lines and encourage collagen production. While peptides have been shown to be quite effective for fighting the signs of aging, certain complexes are more effective than others.
The hexapeptide Argireline perhaps more closely recreates the effects of Botox by reducing the number of small facial twitches that over time cause lines to form. This other patented amino acid complex has been shown to increase collagen synthesis, helping to lift sagging skin and fill in wrinkles from beneath the surface.

Rather than posting brief descriptions of each product on the company website, Klein-Becker has created detailed pages for each of its products. These websites contain a FAQ section, and provide scientific explanations for how the product “works” to improve the skin. However, they are not entirely complete, since none of the Strivectin websites seem to include information on ingredients. With all of the different cosmetic formulas currently on the market, it can often be difficult to distinguish one from the next. Giving consumers basic information about a product’s active components helps them to make a more educated decision.
Although Strivectin products are available through the manufacturer’s website, it does not offer automatic shipping. This means that consumers must continually monitor their supplies and remember to log back on when they are running low. Of course, every woman knows the feeling of picking up their favorite product and discovering that there is only one last dab left. Automatic shipping can prevent this inconvenience.
