Idebenol Review Summary |
|
Idebenol® has been seen in many ads on TV and in magazines, advertising its anti-aging and anti-wrinkle capabilities. Idebenol® is a wrinkle cream, which was developed and launched by Sovage Dermatologic Laboratories. This product comes in a very plain green and white packaging. The manufacturer says that the bells and whistles are in the product and not in the packaging – which is an interesting sales pitch; advertising that “Idebenol can virtually reverse the hands of time” and that it promises and delivers increased skin firmness, increased density of the epidermis and dermis, and clinically improved skin”.
If this product can really accomplish this feat it would be an extreme break though in the anti-aging market place. However, claims like this are made by many similar products; however, we will thoroughly review the Idebenol® formulary to see if it can really turn back the hands of time.

Idebenol® is purported to use a “free radical killing” technology. The manufacturer suggests that this new technology will be able to significantly enhance the look and feel of your skin in terms of smoothness and elasticity, while reversing the aging process. However, Idebenol® does not tell us how they hope to accomplish this without using comprehensive ingredients, which have been proven to effectively help rejuvenating and regenerating skin quality.
Idebenol® uses ingredients which have no proven ability to enhance the skin in anyway, although many of them do have some health promoting effects. For instance, Green Tea Extract is a powerful antioxidant when take as a supplement, but it has not been proven to be effective when used topically on the skin. Also, Coenzyme Q10 is also an antioxidant, which has been helpful in treating many ailments, but again, it has no proven ability to be effective when used topically.
In our estimation, this formula would have benefited from the inclusion of an ingredient proven to be effective in helping achieve skin health; such as Hyaluronic Acid, Argireline or Matrixyl 3000. The more successful anti-aging and anti wrinkle formulas will use Matrixyl 3000 | | |
