Biofirm Lift Review Summary

Biotherm has about 20 anti-aging products on its site, with the ingredient Vitreoscilla Ferment, a “mineral-rich concentrate,” according to a Biotherm representative, being at the center of all them.

Vitreoscilla Ferment is said to be “the scientific key to the effectiveness of products.” It continues to claim that “t enables each formula – skin and body care, color and men’s treatments – to work in sync with skin’s own nature . . . “ Vitreoscilla Ferment is said to help cells utilize oxygen better.

The other products include peels, creams and lotions that claim to decrease the signs of aging. We will take a closer look below.

Ingredients At A Glance
What is surprising is that the company site did not list all of the ingredients in BIOFIRM LIFT Lifting and Firming Treatment. After some searching, the total list of ingredients was found on another site. When we called Biotherm to ask about the ingredients in Biofirm, the representative we spoke with expressed surprise that the ingredients were listed on another site, although she did say this particular site was an “approved site.” An approved site, she expressed, would have the correct ingredients. So, the complete list is as follows:

Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Glyceryl Stearate, Glycerin, Octyldodecanol, Myristyl Myristate, Petrolatum, Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate, Stearyl Alcohol, PEG-100 Stearate, Silica, Tocopheryl Acetate, Hydrolyzed Rice Protein, Faex (Yeast) Extract, Acetyl Trifluoromethylphenyl Valylglycine, Vitreoscilla Ferment, Adenosine, PVP, Panthenol, Zea Mays (Corn) Oil, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Passiflora Edulis Seed Oil, Oryza Sativa (Rice Bran) Oil, Tocopherol, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Polyperfluoromethylisopropyl Ether, Paraffin, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Isopropyl Myristate, Dimethiconol, Ammonium Polyacryloyldimethyl Taurate, Triethanolamine, Polyacrylamide, C13-14 Isoparaffin, Laureth-7, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Chlorphenesin, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Ethylparaben, Butylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Yellow 5 (CI 19140), Red 4 (CI 14700), Fragrance, Hydroxycitronellal, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Linalool, Benzyl Salicylate, Hexyl Cinnamal, Limonene, Benzyl Benzoate.

Ingredients In Focus
We will not go through the description of each ingredient, although we did take a cursory glance and most of them appear to be harmless ingredients. It is just a bit disconcerting that the company, itself, would not list the ingredients.

Its Vitreoscilla Ferment concentrate seems to be a common ingredient in many beauty products that have an anti-aging focus.

We agree, of course, that the ability for this ingredient to increase oxygen within cells is beneficial; the company does not say anything about collagen production in connection with any of its ingredients.

Most of the ingredients appear to be topical ointments that may lessen the appearance of already-existing wrinkles, but they do not enhance the structure of the dermis by bolstering the elastin that keeps the collagen bundles together or by increasing the amount of hyaluronic acid that helps create more collagen.

Website
In addition to not listing the ingredients of the very products that it sells, it dilutes the significance of the Biofirm Lift by selling 20 other anti-aging products, eight of which are “brand new”. There are no testimonials featured on the site, and there is no documented research which only adds to the elusiveness of not li
